This beautiful humidor is a particularly exotic one as it reflects the Cuban culture: The name and the drawings are typical from the island.
This choice is not due to the hazard as Cuba is so well known for its cigars, considered to be the best in the world. As cigars enthusiasts, Elie Bleu’s designers chose to pay tribute to this country. It’s a significant challenge so Elie Bleu chose the best materials for the realization.
The outside is made of sycamore wood. It’s a very solid, homogeny and precious wood which grow in mountainous European region.
The chosen material for the inside is cedar wood. It’s very common choice for humidors, as it’s researched for its natural scent, which is said to give more flavor to cigars. It keeps away little parasites that may cause damages to your cigars.
The bottom of the cigar cell is felt to protect it from little impacts, and it makes it easier to lay on a lot of surfaces.
The exterior finishing is splendid: It was polished and sanded by hand, the marquetry is a silversmith work. Elie Bleu was attributed in 2009 the French living patrimonial label for the quality of their work.
The design is inspired from Cuban culture: Actually, the drawing is a traditional drawing of Cuban humidors. All in yellow, it makes also think about southern countries.
The humidor was sized to contain around 75 cigars. In extra, you will find a hygrometer, two removable separators and a humidifier inside this humidor.
